...to be challenged

In brief....

I wanted to say a bit about the artists I'm "watching" here on the Deev. The ones I've chosen, all have a particular trait... they rock. They all have a spark that ignites in me, the need to be the best I can be. I only want to "watch" the ones who, by the magnitude of their talent, pushes me. In this profession we've all either chosen, or are in, it seems to eat alive, with glistening, crimson coated teeth, those how are lazy, or don't take this seriously.

I'm not saying that comic is a "serious" medium, one that should be analyzed and pondered over. But serious in the sense that it take dedication, determination, ingenuity, and talent, to work in this industry. And the wondrous artist I follow, seem to have that. And it is my hope, that by following them, I will foster a gentleman competition, to be as good, if not better than they are...it helps me...I crave challenges, and in here, challenges are a plenty.

So, a tip of the Cubs cap to you guys, I'll be posting soon, and expect to have it ripped into, because it takes mistakes, to be great!
